The Apache Stonehenge project is an Apache Incubator project
intended to build a set of example applications for SOA that spans
languages and platforms and demonstrates best practices and
interoperability. This project consists of a set of sample
applications which demonstrate seamless interoperability across
multiple underlying platform technologies, by using currently
defined W3C and OASIS standard protocols. It illustrates and
develops best practices for interoperable applications that
communicate via distributed protocols, demonstrates
interoperability between platforms, and provides sample code upon
which SOA developers can build.
