Enables OpenXML documents to be viewed on any client system in any browser as HTML, and includes an add-ins for Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera (Windows/Linux)
This translator project enables the viewing of Open XML documents in "roaming scenarios" by providing a web friendly format that provides form factor and platform independence. The project includes software tools, plus guidance, and a demo showing on how a document created using Open XML Format can be translated to HTML. This translation allows the viewing of the contents of the Open XML file across dissimilar platforms from within the internet browser of the user. The current version of this translator supports Internet Explorer on Windows, Firefox, and Opera on Windows and Linux systems.
